Good looking hogs. Where in West Texas are you hunting? It's been acouple of years since I killed a hog in Texas. I did take a javelina in South Texas back in January. Love stalking those javvies through the cactus and mesquite.

Rod,

Those are some nice trophy sized hogs.  My friend shot a huge boar this past deer season at our deer lease in Goliad, Texas.  There are some big one's running around, but they aren't dumb and that's why they are that big.  We do shoot plenty of bar-b-que sized ones anyway and they taste really good.

Congratulations again and with light equipment to boot.  I shoot about 49@29" and and it does the trick as long as I do my part too.

I love seeing this.  I'm taking my soon to be 8 year old for his first hunt, and my first out of state hunt down in TX this fall.  He's going to get really excited to see these pigs.  Thank you for sharing.

Great hogs Rod! Score two for the girly bows! (That's just a joke of course)   :D

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Congratulations on a pair of great looking hogs!  Proof that a skilled bowman can do a lot of damage with lighter weight bows!  Thanks for sharing your pictures.
