I was hunting in that area and am worried that wolves got my German Shepard.  Has anybody seen her?  She's real friendly.  She'd run right up to you if she saw you.

My Dad killed one in Canada A few years back and his guide said he had been guiding for twenty + years and only had five killed and that was with rifles.

We could have killed one from our cook tarp too.  We had our bows leaning on brush and laying on the ground and one walked about 17 yards while we had our hands in our pockets.  I had my 10mm strapped on and should have punched it with a 200 grain Buffalo Bore just to help the cause (moose)!

One day Benny was again at the cook tarp and a wild-eyed snowshoe hare came ripping thru and had a panic-striken look in his eyes.  Benny nocked an arrow and a couple minutes later two wolves showed up looking for their meal.  They were about 25 yards but there was too much interveneing brush to squeeze and arrow thru.

Dang!!!

 Let's see now.  A brown bear this spring, a wolf this fall, wasn't there something else? Muskox?
