First post; thank you for accepting me into your community.

Rattled in a nice 7 ptr yesterday (Sunday) at 6:15a.m., 10 yd shot, double lung, went 80 yds and piled up. Deer was butchered and packed in the freezer by 5:00pm (thanks for your time, Dad!).

This buck was on the prowl, nose to the ground, heading towards his scrape only ten yds from where he dropped.

Get out there; it's prime time now. I hunt northern Dutchess Cty.

PS: If anyone can tell me how to post a pic via my iPhone, I will do so.

adkmountainken

not sure how to post from your phone but if you email me the pic i will post it for you.

I have hardly seen any deer I the last couple sits, it is like feast or famine. I am getting a little worried I might not get another chance.

wetfeathers

I finally got some meat for the freezer.  I made a great hit on a 10 yard doe this afternoon.  She ran about 100 yards.  I've been seeing bucks every day.
