Well, the early archery season is finally here.  It opened this morning in the NY northern zone.  The southern zone archery season opens next Tuesday for most of the area.  Good luck to everyone and please hunt safe.  I will be in the mountains this afternoon.  Yeehaw!

The new Oct.1st opener kinda takes some of the "fun" outa opening day,LOL!!!

We all used to head up to Kenny's for a "jumpstart" the last weekend in Sept. Gather up all last years tags, roam the mountain, eat like pigs, and yes... drink!!! It was a celebration, a reunion, and a grand time!!!!! Then... It was a 2 week wait for the southern zone opener.

Now, it's 3 days!!!!! I still get as excited as a kid at Christmas before opening day!!! But, I miss the old days.....

Gotta say Ron I am quite jealous!
A couple of the guys at school came in late to class because they just got a doe this morning.
I have to wait until Tuesday the first....
Oh well, soon enough
Good luck all you bowhunters!

Well I'm sitting in my stand as I type. Came out for the evening after I got out of work. Finally got a job after doing school the last 1.5 yrs. Been out several days with my bow bear hunting. Hoping the nice 6 pointer comes back. He was under my stand 10 yards away broadside for 5 minutes last week. I guess he had his days screwed up. LOL. Good luck to all.

Good luck and be safe.  Wear a full body harness when in a tree.  Watch for ticks.  Pick a spot and may your arrow fly true.
