wear my safty harness evertime i hunt from a tree.

ChuckC

Hunt less from a tree and more from the ground. Hunt more often and for all those things I used to chase but lost the time to do so.  Geese and ducks with a bow, small game with a bow.  Trying to hunt several states this year.

Nothing. Try not to walk as far and sit longer maybe.RC

Shooting the new Stalker Stickbow, no missing deer this year, and I removed the shooting rail from my climber to open it up just a little bit. Everything else has been working for me just fine!

I'll be using my Torges Tree Seat in a spot I could never get any other seat to work...

Im going crazy right now
First I cant decide whether to hunt from a tree or build a brush blind.
Secondly my shooting is bad this year. Cant focus and am inconsistant.
I believe Im over thinking it.

I may just small game hunt at this point and relax.

I think for me the main thing I'm going to do is enjoy the moment more and not have some crazy goal that I'm stressed over all the time.

Some backpack hunting trips and campfires would be nice too.

This stuff ain't no rocket surgery science!

I'm going to be hunting over a Wicked Wick if I can get it worked out. There isn't a tree where I want one so I have to rig something up.

I like your plan too Rob!

gonna hunt from the ground as much as i can. i bought the Huntmore chair, and it's great. i like lock-ons too, but i'm over climbing stands. too noisy and too much effort for the reward. also, just got a new bow, which i didn't expect to have until January. also plan to try Simmons broadheads this year.

I'm going to try my luck at primitive camping while hunting for a full ten days. Never have been afforded the privilege of spending that much time in the woods but being laid off has its perks, I suppose.

LongStick64

1. Hunt small game with my primitive gear.

2. Go back to shooting naturally and forget all of the madness shooting a tradbow has become.

Miss most of, if not all, of the season  :( . After a skunk filled bow season last year I'm losing this one so I can go to university. Maybe these next two years will go by fast...

Izzy

1. I would like to share a few more trad hunts with other fellas. Still prefer solo but even a hermit likes occasional company.

2.  I will be hunting with a strap on quiver for the 1st time.

3. Half of my hunting will be urban and the other a mixture of farms and big woods. Usually hunt farms most.

4. Not traditional archery but I'll be hunting waterfowl and upland birds a helluva lot more than the the last 6 or 7 years since I took up traditional bows. It'll cost me some bow hunting time but its my sons preferred game and that matters a whole lot more to me than what weapon Im toting.

5. Hunt 5 times more than last year. With selling my house and moving, my season was devastated. Lucky if I hunted 10 times.

STICKBENDER98

I have a new Asbell wool pullover for camo this year, and have a a Northern Mist Baraga on order...hope its here before season starts. Those are the only changes so far, still have the same great friends and camp to enjoy, along with Mother Nature in all her splendore....(hope to be able to sit longer in the stand too)  :biglaugh:
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.
