I'm home from myTrue South Adventure!!I

Welp, I leave in a week for a 3 day turkey/hog combo with Jim Dussias and True South Adventures.  My broadheads are razor sharp, arrows are packed away, and have most of my gear together.  I'm shooting as good  as I've ever shot.  I'm just waiting for the 18th to get here!!

I'm attempting a turkey slam with my recurve.  I've taken several easterns, I'm going to try to get the Osceola out of the way. All of the posts about hogs lately, have me pretty excited about that too!!

Good luck! The 18th should be my first day to get in the turkey woods also.

On Sunday, a hog hunting client of ours watched a tom strut and gobble for an hour in the back meadow.The tom's beard was nearly dragging!
He heard two or three others gobbling,too.
My partner Irv Eichorst got some video of a nice tom a couple of weeks ago. It walked by the blind at 5 yards!I will post the video, later.
Lots of pigs around also, as you've seen here on Trad Gang.

Thanks guys.  I've been shooting from my knees and sitting all week.  Getting ready to finish packing.  I was going to bring my KB,  but think I'm only just going to bring PCH and a second string. This is going to be a loooong 5 days!
