Who uses a face mask?

I have always used a 3/4 face mask when hunting no matter the weapon of choice or whether in a tree or on the ground. That being said, I cannot shoot well wearing one now that I have switched to shooting a trad bow. I cant come to anchor without twisting it on my face and losing sight of my target. Im just wondering if I dont wear one am I more likely to get busted by deer?

I use a Spandoflage and it fits tite to your face. You can feel your anchor and not have any clearance problems.

I recently started using one and have noticed it really helps.  But yes. I also use the spandoflage one that three rivers sells.  I use a double anchor.  One on my ear lobe and the tip of the feather on my nose.  I simply cut them to accomodate this and the results have been great.  Also I NEVER hunt on the ground without one.  Deer seem to see your white face from a long ways away.  I wonder how many deer moved away from me without me even seeing them simply by seeing my white face from a distance!

I use a black gator, the old cotton ones from E*** B**** only when the weather warrants it. Do not care for the new acrylic. Movement or the lack of it is the key.

Can't stand them.  I use a burnt cork to darken the face.  Costs nothing, no glare and washes off easily.

I use a mask similar to Stumpkiller's pics. Tested mine out the other day. No issues.

I have, but probably will go with burnt cork this year or charcoal.
Local drugstore has charcoal capsules I can empty into a container.
Use a small foam brush and whoala!

I use paint while its warmer, but then wear a fleece mask as it gets cooler.  it fits tight to where its doesnt get in the way.

I use the spandoflage and the jersey face masks that predator sell.  They both fit tight to your face.

I like the spandoflage, too, have worn them for years.  If fits snug to your face and doesn't interfere with shooting or anchor.  I got used to shooting with it very quickly.  A couple years ago I found a 3/4 Spandoflage mask and like it much more than the full headnet.  When I find more, I'm picking up some spares.

I usually use camo paint if its fairly warm out, then switch to First Lite balaclava in ASAT when it's colder, topped with a fleece stocking hat if its real chilly.

I use the cheap spandex ones from wallyworld, they fit close. Early season face paint.

I use a net style pull over.  Easy on and off.  Also helps keep bugs off your face during the early season.
