I just don't shave from September until January! Cost effective natural camo that keeps me warm!

I have always worn one, and hate them. I was thinking of just going to a cork.

I'm getting nice one going right now too. I didn't have a drop of paint on my face yesterday evening and I had an awesome close encounter. Beards rule!

Homemade deer skin mask. Second version, original was made out of a piece of dark brown wool.

Yes, the only Scentlok crap I have is the Savanna ultimate head cover - it has a short bill, in a good camo (vertigo tan), is very light, pretty quiet, I can pull down if I want, and it has mesh for the ears so it doesn't affect hearing.  A little pricey, but this will be year 3 with it and it works well for me. What I did not buy it for was the carbon/scentlok.

I use one all the time. No problem.

Tom (Dawn Patrol) prefers face paint.  I prefer a mesh 3D (mesh camo leaves sewn on it) face mask especially if it is warm...it has a great built in soft short bill on it. This blocks the bright setting sun but allows me to see well. If it is cold I wear a camo Balaclava and contacts so I do steam up my glasses.

I spooked a couple this week that i think would not have seen me with a mask or paint on. i really like to stalk or hunt from the ground so I'm gonna try some type of face cover this year.

Love my face masks. Especially the black balacavas I wear in my  DB blinds.

I hate face masks, but mostly because I switched to a double anchor under my jaw bone and cannot seem to pull that off without getting hung up.  I use face paint and recently started using a Buff some.  The Buff is extremely tight and I don't have anchor issues with it.

I'm going with something new this year, its more for hiding my face and scaring off the bird watchers that walk the trails here.

I wear one too after years of using paint...  Scrubbing my face to remove it, smearing it, removing it when I'd wipe my nose....  Sure don't miss those days....  I use one from primos...

I do.  Check out the photo on my profile page and you'll see why.  Whiskers and bowstrings don't get along very well.  White whiskers really shine!!!

I'm trying burnt cork this year.   A trial run seemed promising.

Blaino

I start my beard in September and let if go till spring. If that counts as a face mask then I use one.

I use Carbomask when it's warm and a facemask under my boonie when it starts to drop below freezing. If you haven't tried Carbomask it's pretty nice, dries flat, stays on well but washes off with water. One tube lasts quite a while.

Uncle Buck

I have always used a large camo bandana folded into a triangle and tied around my face. I tuck the bottom of the triangle into my shirt or jacket.

Come winter i wear a cheap wally-world spandoflague job, but at this time of year it's just too warm (& you can't spit through it)
