Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

Well guys.... Your bowyer worked on his lawn mower instead of your bows today.   :scared:

I hate it when that happens.

I did get some cleaning done out there in the shop this afternoon, so i'll be rolling up my sleeves in the morning and get back after it.

there won't be many good photo ops while i work on getting the limbs all balanced out and timed, but i'll get a couple film clips on shaping the risers for you and the overlay work.

Pete,   is this your hand?

And this is your high wrist isn't it John?

I got your video Thom so i got you covered.

Zradix

Yeah Kirk.
That bottom one is mine.
I do loosely wrap my index finger and thumb around though.
My palm doesn't touch at all really.
Just the web between thumb and index.

Thanks!

The Top bow looks like an EagleWing Talon 11 Top Mount I built. Myrtle and walnut 12 in riser , 56 in carbon limbs with yew core. In fact , I know it is. That must be from Larry Marshall Kirk.

God bless you all, Steve

Sorry to hear you were working on the lawn and not out steelheading or something fun!

I was looking back and page 13 of this thread has to be my favorite page of any thread I think I've ever seen on TG! I'm sure those pics and videos will hold me over for a while!  Also for you other guys, there are a couple videos on the channel that didn't get posted here. You gotta watch Kirk moving fast with the super glue on the hardware installation for Pete's TD mounts!

My Howard Hill sold yesterday, when it ships I'll be officially longbow-less until the Sasquatch arrives. Holding back one recurve to help me transition, I'm not sure which one of the 12 steps this is    :dunno:   I think it the one right before you are temped to put a deposit on another bow...

You guys have a great one!
Thom

There we go and I think   :bigsmyl:  that it is also a Talon II in picture. I didnt know how to reply to first picture, I thought Kirk might have been trying me on a trick question  :bigsmyl:
