**DONOTDELETE**

Is this going to work for you John?  i know you requested something cool on the tip overlays. These still need finish sanding. i just hit em with some sealer to turn on the lights for you.

I've got matching riser overlays with a touch of Zebra to tie it all in going right now...

I've been pretending like I haven't been hitting F5 since I posted that. Don't bust me out.

Hey Kirk, where's John's purple heart???    :smileystooges:

Malachi, Yeah I don't think we're the only ones either LOL. If I were one of the three guys getting one of these bows I'd be even worse.
Those ARE some wild nocks on John's bow.   :clapper:
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

Heck yeah! I've left a few things to Kirk, and I have yet to see how a few of them will turn out! I don't think yew/purple heart is a bad combo, it's just that my yew is buried. Whatever he says will go when it comes to that!

Anyone else really interested in what Pete's got brewing for his limb tips???

Have to admit..

I've never been so anxious to see someone ELSE'S bow progress than I am to see Thom's and Pete's.

....Guess I'm not quite as self centered as I thought..lol

Sorry Dave.
Wasn't trying to throw you there.

If I was in the "thinking about it" stage on one of these bows this thread would be so great.

Being able to see the options you're contemplating come to life.

Not to mention finding out what type of work Kirk will do on his own if you just give him some space to do it.

I sure am happy as heck with what he has decided on when I gave him no real direction to go in.

Seems like he always wants to add that little touch that takes things from custom to "TRUE CUSTOM".

...and that's worth noticing in my book.

Thanks Pete.

When are you going to let us see the rest of yours?

Funny last night I was showing my Wife some of these pics and she noticed I typed "Ms. Sexy Limbs" after Thom came up with it.

...."What's this Ms sexy limbs...go back go back..let me see what's going on here"...lol

She thought she caught me....lol

All true! I'm having fits finding a bow grip that truly fits my odd shaped paw! I had the same issue with big bore revolvers, back in the day, but that was the other hand and it was simple to get a big block inlet to the handgun and I'd whittle on it to fit.

Not the same with a bow!   :knothead:

Kirk has impressed me with his "data driven" approach to seeing my way of holding and shooting a bow, in pics and vids, tracings, etc.

It'll likely not be the gorgeous looker like your risers, cause finances won't allow much splurging, but I'm confident it will be center stage in the SHOOTING department!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Nice one John! I'm almost sorry I let that post out into public domain then...  Oh, wait... No I'm not.

I would be sorry if it caused you any trouble with the mrs. That's no joke. I hope she can appreciate you knowing a guy who knows how to spell Edvard correctly in a pinch.

Looking forward to any other pics being posted from Oregon!

No man, There was no problem at all.
Actually it was a fun joking moment...after she figured out I wasn't being a bad boy...lol
