Any good ideas for a new bow with Cocobolo Riser as far as veneers?

Thank you

kat

I have a Cocobolo widow riser, with osage limbs. Great looking combination.

A buddy of mine got a new bow(Hill) and it was red Elm with a cocobolo riser. I think it is one sharp bow and has a natural camo to it.

Igor

I also have a cocobolo riser with osage limbs and really like that combination....

I think yew would be cool and slightly different as would bird's eye maple (stained?).  Myrtle might be cool too.
Initially I would agree on the osage (it is one of my favorite woods) but I had a coco/osage bow and once the osage darkened the bow had no contrast.  Just something to consider since most folks like the contrasting colors.

What doesn't look nice with cocobolo?  I have recurves with cocoblolo and yew limbs, coco with stained elm, and coco with zebra.  I think I like the cocobolo with yew the best.

I think cocobolo with nicely figured myrtle would be a great combination too but haven't seen it yet.

I have a silvertip being made right now with highly figured yew limbs and cocobolo riser.
This is what it looked like when I sent it, waiting for its return.....a couple of weeks!

I really like bocote, curly koa and tulipwood combined with cocobolo also.

Just herniated two disks in my back, so I wont be shooting it. So I hope it looks good!

Chad Holm made me an Osprey with a cocobolo riser with an Osage "I" beam and Tamo Ash lams.....really nice!
