Cocobolo and bacote gets too "busy."

As someone above said coco with yew, osage or bamboo is the way to go.

Cocobolo looks good with about anything, but Yew would be my choice.

Eastern red cedar is sharp with coco.

My favorite two woods are Macassar (Risers) and Cocobolo (Risers). I like Myrtle and Juniper or Eastern Red Cedar for limb veneers.  I have a Habu that is cocobolo riser and limbs.
