I anticipate things will be getting busy in here with less than three months to the end of the swap and 70 plus bows to go.

Bring on the progress pics guys, I know more of you must be working on bows.

According to Canada Post tracking, my bow was delivered last Wed. but I haven't seen any confirmation of that on here. I sure hope it went to the right address. It's nerve wracking when your baby leaves home for the first time and you don't know she's all right.
Don't know how I got here and don't know where i'm going, but life is grand.

I hope they post soon myself. We shall see.

I was told another one hit the mail today. So that is 1 on the mail.

I thought mine would be in the mail by the end of the week, but my handle wrap is giving me some trouble, looks like it will be next week or so at this point.....Dan

Ruddy, she's coming along but leave those inner limbs alone for now. The right limb is till a bit stiff too.

I recieved 1025 VS's bow. It is incredible! Hickory backed ipe with a very elegant elb-like design. shoots very nice, even with mismatched arrows. (working on new arrows for it now)
I will be taking it with me to a 3D course this weekend.

I will upload pictures in the next few days.

Thank You 1025 VS!!

Also, I have completed my trade bow and will try to send it out soon.

Will upload pictures of that too.

I got my trade bow tillered out to 22"@55lbs. I'm shooting for 55@27" before my final sanding and shaping the handle.

City,

It is coming along nice. Alex congrats.

That brings us to 20 received and 1 in the mail so we are 24% complete.

The hickory looks clean, Rudy.
Citycop, I like the curve of your bow. They look goodk, fellas.

Got my trade bow floor tillered this afternoon. I put a long string on it and pulled it to 25 lbs. just to get a feel of how the bamboo backing might perform.
Bamboo backing seems to be much stronger than hickory. I scraped the stave to approximately the same thickness as one of my hickory backed osage bows. It felt much stronger.

lol pd, no way,i was so ready to get it done.
fellas, i had my bow tillered to 28". it came in 5# lite. i  did another toasting . piked it, and fliped the tips. that was the beginning of a quick end. upon inspection the wood was too dry. all my fault. one toasting is enough for hickory. on to stave#3. rv

Sorry to hear that Ruddy well you learned something so not a total loss.
