Mine is a 60# AMO actually (and I draw 27")... the next one might be a 50#

I currently have two bows. The one I shoot on a regular basis is a 50# recurve and my other bow is a 58# selfbow.

Hard for me to answer as well since I shoot 54# and 56# bows normally!
They'll be no quitters till we bag us some critters!

Looking at the results of the poll, it seems to be going about what I would have thought.  Over 50% are in the 45-55 range with a slight edge in the 45-50.  Isn't that what everyone used to shoot in the golden age of archery?  Seems like we are coming full circle.  All of my bows are 45 to 48 pounds.

Well it looks like the 50-55 lbs is pulling ahead a bit, thats the range I use for hunting, but for 3-D I shoot just under 50lbs thanks for all the input guy's.

I've recently returned to traditional archery, and have a long draw. I am enjoying my 45#@28" bow, which I hear is 50-55# at my draw length.

I shoot 45 - 55 at my draw length. My hunting bows around 52.

Its funny when I was in my 20's I hunted with bows in the mid 60's but after a break I am shooting with bows in the low to mid 50's  I am working on my form and it is amazeing how much better I am shooting

I do plan on hunting with a bow in the low 60s wish I would have done this years ago

Prefer low to mid fifties due to my lack of moderation in practicing. Love the feel and release of much heavier bows.
