I love that tent, especially with that fly.
I've added it to the wish list.

I found via a visiting friend from Sweden; that if you place a large rock on the woodstove; it will heat up and keep you warm until the morning hunt.
Just make sure that big ole rock ain't soaking wet or from a creek bed...I've seen them puppies used in fire rings heat up the moisture inside and then blow apart like they had a 1/4 stick laid on em!

Makes for some interesting stories if you dodge the shrapnel!   :)

Bob,

Nice looking tent and set up you guy's got there. Say could you tell me what the weight of that cylinder stove is when its all packed up?
Thanks, Brian

"Whip" has good products and does darn good work(Bow Hospital) as well. Don't hesitate to contact him if you have a question about tents or stoves. He is one of the good guys.  :clapper:

that little cylinder stove is a must have! not sure what it weighed, but you can carry it with one arm. Just don't let Bob load it up and then fall back asleep without shutting down the dampers...that little baby will get roaring.

Art and I spent the weekend trying to figure out where the deer were, now Bob on the other hand...well that guy is like a magnet for any critter he's hunting.

Looking at the same tent.  Wondering where you put the stove jack and where the stove is in the tent in relation to the pole and everything else?? I have a stove ready to go but need the tent part to complete my set up.

Whip

You can have the stove jack placed wherever you like on the tent. My preference is left side wall which leaves enough room just inside the door for a small wood pile.
On my larger tent (15x15) I had the stove hole put closer to the front which leaves me with just enough room for the stove and a cot along that side wall. On the 12x12 like Art's I suggest centering it on the wall.

Bob,

Yes the table is still standing, but it's going to need a little TLC. Rain is a staple up there !

The tent is canvas and the stove weighs under 20lbs.

Larry,

I wasn't sleeping just resting my eyes.

Same Panther tent 12x12 tall Boy 11' tall.
...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......
