Thanks again to all of you who followed the post. That fall crisp in the air is here, and that means it´s time to do what we all do best. Good luck on the hunts.

Beautiful buck, and I'm glad it worked out for you. Congratulations, and enjoy the results. I've hunted the Mante La Salles in the past, and they're a wonderful place to explore.

Great buck, I rattled one through the antlers a few years back. As I was drawing I shifted my focus from that tiny spot I wanted to hit to his eyes to see if he saw my drawing on him. I let it go and it went exactly where I was looking, right through his rack.

Looks like you hit where you were looking...at that beautiful rack!  Way to go!  I am sure the shot was not what you wanted, but the end result is.  Great Job!

Good talking with you by phone Conner.  I will be contacting you next year around the time of the draw.  Thanks! David

Congratulations on one awe inspiring animal.....the first archery deer I harvested was a whitetail doe .......right behind the ear....I was horrified until she fell within seconds and in site....I never heard the end of that one........great buck
