Congrats...sometimes things are just meant to be in spite of ourselves!

great buck!

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow's effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Great buck!  Not every shot goes like we want, despite lots of practice.  Glad it went to a spot that made your recovery easy.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Great buck! That has to be a lot harder shot than hitting those big old lungs, lol. Seriously, I always want to make that perfect hit too, but almost all my kills have had something strange happen from the time the arrow left the bow till it reached the animal. Glad things worked out for you.

Conner, that's the way to knock him out! Yeah, they don't all go as planned. But I'm glad it worked out for you. He's a beauty!
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

Congratulations, that is one nice deer.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
