I shoot the Skookum glove from Alaska Bowhunting Supply.  I have 3 of them and they will last me the rest of my shooting days.  I've been shooting one of them for 3 years now.  The other two are spares.

I always shot with a glove then two years ago went to the tab.  I shot much better with a tab.  I tried a lot of tabs and found a couple I liked a lot.  Then I tried a big shot glove.  Now I am going back to the glove for a lot more of my shooting.  The big shot is the only glove I have tried that gives me tab like clean release, good feel, but with good protection of my fingers for the string, plus full finger protection on the sides.  I get no seam issues rubbing or a lot of seam materials on my finger tips.

Using a tab I had an occasional problem with catching my cheek with the string because of my thumb knuckle and upper jaw bone anchor.  With the big shot I get a little more space between my face and string due to the finger tip material.

I like to shoot some short bows with some tight string angles.  I always have some heavy callous on the bottom of my ring finger and bottom of my index finger from the string and arrow nock contact using the tab.  The big shot really reduces this.  Also I find the glove produces less callous overall because it doesn't move on my skin near as much as the tab.

I still like a tab for easy of moving it out of the way to use my fingers for stuff, but the big shot is a really nice glove.

I use a Black widow 3-under cordovan tab.  I like the feel better than a glove, and I get a smooth release.  Cordovan lasts forever.

I've always used a tab. Get a better feel on the string.

I have used a Bateman Cordovan Tab with finger spacer for several years. This is a great tab that is easy to use, durable and produces a clean release. I lost one this past hunting season that I had been using for 3 years and I shoot a lot. I've tried several different gloves over the years but never felt comfortable using a glove, and was unable to get the smooth release that I could generate with a tab.To each his own but I'll stick with my tab.

I tried a shooters mitt. It was bulky and cumbersome to me. I like a glove. It may not be as accurate as a tab, but it is comfortable.

I prefer either a Bateman Cordovan tab or an old Grizzly glove with the cordura finger overlays. Unfortunately, the new Grizzly gloves do not fit me as well as the old ones, so I now buy the 3Rivers Dura-glove instead. I shoot about the same with the tab or the glove. When wearing a full glove for warmth, the tab is a better choice. When shooting lots of arrows, the shooting glove protects my fingers better.
