Killdeer

This bow is too heavy for you, sweetie.

Killdeer
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Ok, Killie, I've got to come clean. I have received my new Centaur!! Things have been pretty crazy around here, and I haven't taken any pics, until today! Larry, if you don't mind, I'll send you the pics, I hope you don't care to post some pics when you get a chance. Bocote with Ebony overlay and accents. 58" 48#@26". Shoots as good as it looks. Jim Neaves is a great guy to work with, and this is without a doubt the finest Centaur i've owned!!  Thanks, Jr.

Killdeer

You mean we are all at Larry's mercy?
Say it ain't so!

be happy to Guss, I've got a new e-mail addy...it's listed in my profile.

to heavy?? I'll have you know I've been seeing a PT for my shoulder the last few months and I can now draw manly bows again      :D

Killdeer

Be still, O my heart.
OK, I'm locking up my collection. I hope Guss is busily writing the opening post of his bow thread. As he was the speed bump that was holding up my bow, he should at least entertain me while I wait!

Larry must be kicking himself for not thinking up a way to kidnap Guss' bow.

And Guss must be the speed bump that was holding up delivery of MY bow. Not that the bow is late, it isn't due until May, and Jim never said WHEN in May. But this kind of work must have taken some time.

He has five more pics, but he only sent me these. The rest are on a Kodak online gallery thingy, and I can't pull the pics off it. Unless I pull a new trick that Rob just laid on me...
Naw, I figure I shouldn't worry my dinky little brain about it...because Guss sure won't, and it's his bow!

Sorry Larry!   :p

...too bad about that huge stress crack running through the riser....haha   I know "not nice"...

That will be a real keeper! Can't wait to see it finished, in your hands, and pic of a smilin' Killdeer.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

Killie that is one sweet looking hunk of wood. I can visualize in my minds eye just how beautiful this bow is going to be. I'm hoping to see it this fall at the "Rough Mountain Rendezvous"....

He sent me a picture at about 1:30 this morning. I know, I know, 1:30 AM in Montana is different from 1:30 AM in Virginia. But still!

He must sleep in.

Lemme load up the pic...he took it right before his wife printed out the label to send it. It is on its way here right NOW!!
