Kurt,
Thanks for the offer, but I think the 64" longbow I have in the oven should come close to forty pounds.  If not, I have an ugly 35# - 60" recurve I built last year that shoots really nice.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I think you are right on the numbers Kurt. The breakfasts will be different than the BBQ. There will about 6 guys who are staying in town. They will probably grab breakfast there before coming out to the range. We should do a tally! I'll start another thread for that.

Hi Ted i will bring plenty of Sockeye and Halibut.  Might need a freezer to keep em in until the BBQ.

Ted Fry

No worries James, we have an extra freezer behind the store, room for plenty.

Well received the last deposit today...actually Biglegmax just got it over with and paid it in full!
Runamuck we will have to settle up at the range because you paid $100 too much.
I've got all the financial stuff on a spread sheet. So we can see where we are at and then at the range when you, or if you need to, pay in full we can cross you off.
Looks like we are committed!..or should be committed...something like that.

Wow ...I haven't been able to get online much lately, ...just finished up a clinic in MI and drove to WI for another this weekend....but with the excellent planning being done, looks like all that's needed from me, is to hop on a plane:)

Loooking forward to the trip west!

Well I just was handed about 100 Surewood Shafts!!! They are being donated by Doug Knight and the Surewood crew for our clinic. These are not their premimums. But they will work great for our purpose. I will get busy making them into arrows for us. Doug even tapered all of them for us!!!  Thanks Doug and Surewood Shafts! See you at the BBQ.

Of course as good as Rod is going to have us shooting I probably can just put a nock and tip on them they will hit the bullseye everytime!   :bigsmyl:
