I never had the honor of meeting Allan, but always read his posts and appreciated his seemingly endless knowledge and generosity.

He will be missed!

Those who never met him can't imagine, those of us that knew him can't explain.  He was just one of a kind.

Tomi, if you read this I tried to e-mail you and it wouldn't go through.  If there's anything at all we can do, just let us know.  Pick up the pieces and carry on--you know that's what Allan would want.  Ya'll will be a team again one day--until then, cherish the memories.

Ron, he was that way in all things. And man did he make the finest cane arrows I've ever seen. He often joked with me to throw the carbon away for "nature's carbon".

I'm sure everyone's kind words will be a comfort to his family. Thank you all for your sympathies.

My condolences - I think my previuos post might be a bit to real for ppl so I thought best to edit it.

I have lost 3 family members to cancer in the past 23 months so it's me hard when I see ppl affected by it and so much lately.

Again my oppologies.
