Hey not to hijack the thread or anything... but do any of the AK guys in Anc, or the Valley want to meet up for bunnies or ptarmigan this weekend?

Three years in Anchorage, 1972-75. My son Matt was born there. I would love to take him up there sometime and visit some old friends. I loved it, but my wife hated it. Something about having to wear a ski jacket on the Fourth of July as I recall.

I'm now in the no mans land between Palmer and Wasilla, and I'm loving it! We have a great view of the surrounding mountains, and have moose living in our back yard!

Saw lots of caribou sign along the highway leading into Tok and between Tok and Glennallen. Looking forward to hunting the critters!

Soon to be an Alaskan resident. Moving to Chugiak this summer. I'm glad to see there's a good group of people to shoot with. Hurry up summertime......

Just an update for the South central shooters.  Paul is open again.  Set up a shop with range in the Alaska Club building in Eagle River.  Just drive around to the back and look for the sign.  Nice 20 yd range.  See you all there.

Looks like we are covering the Kenai Peninsula pretty well now.  JUST back from a PWS deer hunt with a new homie I met on here.

We might have to post a few pics on our "Chuming for Deer" hunting trip...

Kodiak Kid where are you?  Why is the screen swaying?

AkDan

Here's a word of advice that Steve and I would like to share. Don't eat quiche with scallops in it right before you head out to the open sea. It's certainly a wast of a good meal and  doesn't taste as good coming up.

AkDan

I heard all about the ralphing KK LOL!
