I just picked up a Dark Shadow (Mike Nelson) ASL. I had been hearing about them, and when this one showed up on a classified for a good price, I pulled the trigger.
It's 68", 45@28" black glass front and green belly, bamboo laminations. Took it out to shoot last night and I was hitting pretty darn good. Seems like that has been the case with all my ASL bows since I went down that rabbit hole. Liking it so far - Mike makes a nice bow.

You are right.  That is impressive.  Cool bow, quiver, arrows and 4 yds on the ground!  Congratulations   

I picked up a Louie Armbruster - Zebra Grevy. Check out the tips on this baby. I think the only other bow I've seen with this tiny/slender of tips is my Toelke - Whip. Super well built older bow.

I'm just gonna be a lurker this year in this thread for now anyways. Gonna be useing my NM superior so not a true asl. Could switch it up but for now I'll just be watching this thread. Good luck to you guys and keep the pics coming!!!!

After a 10 year break from ASL's and 7 years from traditional archery, I bought a bow I've been searching for. HHA "Ol One Shot" should be coming to my door next week. So excited to get back into shooting like Howard and going hunting to have fun again.
