Bud, does me good to see that bow in her natural element!    Thanks for the pictures from time to time.

I've gotten a grip pattern worn in the suede wrap already. At least my grip seems consistent! Haa!

Lovin' the bow Dave.

David,  Is Bud's bow one of your lost children?

It is a pretty thing!

Overspined

Can you all believe how many other Hill bow threads this one has inspired??! I like this site more and more, so many enjoyable discussions about Hill style bows (yes biased). Catching up weekly is a nice read.

David Mitchell

Yes, Tony, one of my "lost children".  Bud is giving her the care and attention she was not receiving from me--so she wanted a new home.  A bit heavy on the draw for this aging archer.  :(

Yeah Matt, it is very cool!  A year of this and I find myself sucked deep into the tradition (hah...biased too...but not a snob.

Dave,

If one of its siblings gets lonesome let me know....(hint, hint).

Bud, you are a lucky lefty!  Just hang out with David long enough and he'll adopt you.

He has a bunch of dandy hills....and he ain't getting any younger...lol

(neither am I)   "[dntthnk]"

Bud, funny you should ask...see what I just posted on the classified!    :readit:        :biglaugh:

...and I am envious some times....like now.  Hah!

David Mitchell

Hey, Tony, you could always switch--not too hard.  I did several, years ago.  It's probably a good thing, too, or I would be even more bow poor than I already am--too many right handed bows on the classifieds.

Ross, looking forward to seeing your Cheetah - still dragging my heels on getting one myself.

Bud B.

Timing is off on the Tembo for me Dave, but keep me in mind!!  :)

Maybe some photos of it on this thread for the history of a Hill bow and the history of this thread?!

It is N-I-C-E!

OK, Bud, here are some pics of a 40+ year-old Hill that still shoots right there with the current crop. Built by John Schulz in the classic black glass back and white belly common at the time, and seemingly making a come-back.

Thanks for sharin' the photos of your Schulz-Hill with us David!

A very handsome Hill bow for sure!

Shoot straight, Shinken

"Aged Ivory"... that's a color that speaks to me.

I agree that your bow is a beauty David.

I know I've said it before but I can't wait to put my hand to "my buddy" bow.

God bless,Mudd
