You are an artist.  That's a beautiful bow there.

Thanks guys,I didn't know how the woods would look together, but my wife picked em so we built!! I think they look great. Thanks to V-archer for the pic of osage and purpleheart!! Didn't have osage at the time so we went Zebra.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Wow! You really did a great job on this one. The blending of all the woods for a total overall great look is excellent. She should be proud to be seen anywhere with it even on a bad hair day.

Beautiful bow Kenny. I love that purpleheart under the clear glass. It's a unique look.

Hey Kenny,

The bow turned out just fine, great job!!
I take it that your wife is pleased with the bow.
How's the lams, any nice red cedar yet?

Only bad thing is the knots,a lot of throw away pieces!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Kenny, great job on the bow. Question: Would the knots in the cedar lams weaken them? Thanks! Tom

kennym

Tom,for thin veneers,I don't think the smaller pin knots would. Those bigger ones couldn't be good tho. JMO

Thanks! One more LOL! What's a better wood for lams Juniper or  Cedar?I'm wondering how a Bubinga riser with juniper or cedar lams would look. Thanks Tom

LEOPARD

Tom, MDOC says red cedar is a true juniper. We always just called it cedar round here tho.

Very nice, Kenny!  Great job on lining up the arcs.  I never tried putting them in.

That cedar you have looks great and cedar limbs make a great shooting longbow.  They look really nice on an osage riser, too.
