I just never think to take a before and after picture.  Need to do that the next time...I forgot this IS my Last Post on reducing weight as I know y'all must be getting tired of seeing these.

I'm not tired of seeing them. I think it is awesome that you have the skill to modify them to your liking. I have built several  longbows through the years, but it never occurred to me to try and reduce the weight on one.

Reducing all these bows of past bowyers bring up alot of good memories!

Had an opportunity to visit and shoot with many at Cloverdale and Michigan shoots!

You are right that cocobolo is beautiful. You did a great job refinishing it.
