Why am I just now seeing this Chippewa stand?!  That looks like a breeze to hang.  I may just drive down there and save on shipping!

If I had to sit a treestand it would be the Chippewa wedgeloc maximus. Big, solid and a breeze to hang.

I have really been pleased with the hawk helium stands and sticks as a mobile set up, and will be getting a helium kickback for next year

I use a lock-on 95% of the time. I have two types. large ones and small more portable ones. The large ones I hang in close easy to get to areas or if I plan to sit longer hours during the rut. The small ones I use 80% of the time and I bounce them around the farm quit often. Usually won't sit one of these mobile spots more than twice.

Really liking the Millennium stands. The small M7 and larger M25 are my picks. The seats are fantastic, very durable and don't soak up water. The tapered back end of the platform allows for easy climbing around to get into stand without having to do a dangerous move to get around. The nobs that you put the straps on with make for fast easy connection while dangling high off the ground.

Also agree with Micheal, the Muddy stands are great also. I have two of them. The seats on the Millenniums are more comfortable though.

My favorite stand I've ever sat in was a Summit RSX Hawk.

They are easy to hang, and the rubber foam seat is the perfect blend of waterproof/warm.

Unbelievably comfortable for long hours.

Millenium for me. Most comfortable stand I've used. Regularly do full day sits (before sunrise until dark) in November here in Michigan. Couldn't pull that off in one of my other stands.

I've owned/used all kinds of stands over the years, and have come to the conclusion that I need some sort of sling seat/armrest. It allows me to wedge myself in place and fall asleep (impossible for me to sit on stand for 10+ hours without nodding off occasionally) without worrying about sliding off the seat. The design of the Millenium allows me this comfort, yet doesn't cause any problems with bow limb clearance that some other designs have.

As mentioned, the Chippewa wedge-loc hanging system rocks. The only complaint that I have is the seat.... It is not that comfortable. A stand that costs that much could and should have a better seat. It is some sort of hard dense foam and very thin.
Take care,

I've had a lot of different ones. I took some old lock-ons to the dump two weeks ago.

I have a Summit and Loggy Bayou climbers but almost never use them and when I do often as a "hang-on" rather than climbing. Most of my stands are on edges where the trees have lots of limbs.

My favorites are Muddy and Lone Wolf. The Muddy is a bit heavy but I'm usually using a UTV when hanging stands, I even bring along an extension ladder lots of time to make hanging safer and easier. Hard to believe I've survived all the 3-finger and teeth holds all these years hanging stands! I need to stop tempting gravity.

I doubt I'll ever buy another hang-on that doesn't have some adjustment for bole lean. Those Millenium's look very comfortable.

Very happy with Lone Wolf I bought last year, plan to buy another before upcoming season.
Think I well get the thicker seat cushion, which is my only complaint

Eric

Woodsey Too is the most comfortable treestand out there. It is heavy though, and not good for public ground where you have to pack in and out!
