I would have done this one in a heartbeat, but I had a lot of "bucks" in credit at a store that only sold Lone Wolf. I like my Alpha II a LOT! I got rid of the other 4 stands I owned and now only have this one.

Lone Wolf.  I like the little one (Alpha Assault).  As solid and quiet as any, but light and very well thought-out.  Money well spent.

I love my muddy vantage and would also consider a lone wolf assault 2
Toelke whip 2 piece.  58" 50@28"

Millennium is my favorite. Super comfy and easy to hang.

XOP Air Raid or Lone Wolf are my favorite. Chippewa WedgeLoc comes next...

My millennium M150 is very comfortable but it's too bulky and having to flip it off your back, turn it over without it opening up, and put it in the block is a pain.  Hard to do if you aren't wearing a climbing belt.

I just can't believe the name Chippewa has not been mentioned. In my opinion it's the one others should be judged by.

I mentioned it a few posts up...   :goldtooth:

Sorry I missed it. I tried them all and I don't understand why you don't see more of them in the woods.

Blessed One

I used hawk helium stands and they were great. Either the kick back or helium kick back if it's run and gun. I will have one for next year. Used the helium XL this year and want the kickback for additional comfort.

I still use Loc On LEM's that came over on the Mayflower!  I just added the after market padded seat....you can still find them cheap.

I had a lone wolf climber, I will have a LW assault.

I'll back olddogrib there and say the loc on LEMS are an awesome stand. I have spent untold hours in one of them! Mine were with the rope attachment. I could pack in set it up quiet with rope step and set. They are solid.
Always be stubborn.

Captain hindsight to the rescue!

Chippewa Wedge Loc is a great system and I also have the ladders that go with them. Sets up in minutes and is rock solid and quiet
