Just finished reading this post.  Liz has made my day. It's really good to see Liz's enthusiasm and the great people who have complimented and helped her on this site.

Lady Frost

I have never met a greater group of people in my life.  I am looking forward to making new friends and the future more than ever.  I don't think I will be good enough for hunting for awhile though.  Need to practice a lot more and start collecting the gear I will need.
P.S.  I have been working so much, I just had a chance to open the bows Chuck sent for my boys.  I can't get over the generosity.

Thank you so much Chuck.

Went to my 2nd 3D shoot, the North Georgia Traditional Archery Club shoot.  The course was awesome, very realistic (as far as actual hunting goes).  I had so much fun, I shot the course 3 times!!  Got my elbow down finally, took a couple of weeks of practice and concentration.  I posted the album of pictures I took in the Trad Events and Gatherings forum, but here are a couple of my best ones:

(I love it when stories get exchanged and laughter ensues)  :)

This one was hard!

But I hit it!   :D

So grateful for all the great people I met today and all of the advice I was given, so very thankful.

LFD, good for you. Remember why you got into stick bow shooting, having fun and enjoying yourself so keep it that way and you will be shooting for a very very long time.

It is good to see the enthusiasm is still running high.  I am glad your sons now have bows, too. Next time we shoot, I hope they come with you. Congratulations on your progress.

I sprang from a nonhunting family too! Looks like your learning curve will be a lot steeper than mine, you lucky gal. Internet and a network of enthusiasts will be just the ticket to fuel your fire. Good to have you aboard.
