Quick update...
Its been tough this week! Remind me next year to pay attention to the full moon phase when plannin vacation!

On the up side,saw 3 bucks today,1 at 2:00,a spike from 5:00 to dark,and a bigger one when it was too dark for me to pick a spot(after hours too). The bigger one was following a doe at about 8 yds,grunting every step.Bro won the coin toss so he's gonna be waitin there in the AM to see what she drags back to the beddin area!
I'll be in the stand we call The Power Pole,a limbless,ramrod strait cottonwood.We had to cut some pinoak trees and tie them up there with the stand!!LOL  Good trees ain't never in the right spot!!

Well,Bro passed a 120-130  8pt from that stand. I saw 9 does and fawns yesterday AM and a couple lil bucks and a fawn that walked under my stand along with a doe with twins at 40 yds last nite.

This AM I saw a lone fawn and 3 does and Bro saw a bunch of deer but no bigguns ar shootable does!

Tonite we saw the regular few small bucks and a couple fawns.I've seen a truckload of bucks like thisun at close range,wonder when the bigguns will come out to play? Thats bout 8 yds.......

Looks like a durn good vacation to me!!!!!  I was up yo way twice this past week, but was in and out, had to git back down here to MY stand!!! You're sure seein alot more deer than I am.

We had a great hunt and 10 days of R&R,we didn't put a thing on the ground,but still loved every minute. Didn't do anything fer 10 days but hunt and eat and sleep!!

Great pictures and story. I know how it is to get the cold/flew when you take off to hunt, it sucks.
