Didn't get out this AM,head and chest cold!! Coughing too much!! :banghead:   My wonderful wife went last nite and got a bunch of cold meds and cough drops,so I should be back with em tonite!

Clay I live near Linneus,30 miles E and 50 S of where you'll be. The bucks are startin to move in the daytime, saw 2 little ones this AM at 9:30 in a beanfield.A youth hunter shot an 11 pt.(rifle) on the farm I'm huntin, said they rattled him in. Nice deer, but not one of the big ones.........

Brad,ya been up this way lately? I'm glad it didn't wreck the truck too, you've seen my other trucks!!LOL
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Cool!!  I was on public land in No. Mo tonight, and saw 3 bucks and 10 does.  The bucks are moving mid day.  Walking in I came 40yrds from a 140 class buck.  Got an arrow nocked and got 1/4 drawn and he split.

Yesterday was a bust, beautiful frosty morn and NO deer sighted!! Last nite between coughing I saw 2 does,45 yds and headed somewhere, also heard the woodcutters, maybe the does were puttin distance on them......

This morn I felt crappy and was really coughing,so I drove around the section, saw 6 does total, not so good for around here!!

Tonite I took a big knit sock to cough into and saw an 8pt at 40 yds, he wasn't interested in my grunting.Had a fawn come by at 10 yds, drew on her,but wasn't interested in shooting. Saw a doe and another fawn out of range,a coon and heard a pileated woodpecker. Sorry,no pics, will try to do better......
Stay sharp, Kenny.
