Thanks Ron W. You saved me a trip to the Dog House.  I was looking hard at the River Runner and the Kota Killum that B. Hall had listed.

Bowwild

I know the feeling.

I had been on self-imposed, mostly satisfied restraint from buying new bows for almost exactly 12 months. I've been planning since last April to purchase one that should be available this spring.

A few bows were catching my eye. I even sent a PM inquiry or two.  Then that Snakewood/Ebony Stalker Schleyer came up...It will arrive Monday.
Now, that Spring bow will probably get finished early and ... here we go again.

Ron, I feel your pain. I fell prey to the classifieds this week as well.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Wow! It was less than a month ago when I got a PM from you saying that you were done buying for a while. I guess 'a while' was just shorter than I was figuring.   :) ;
People collect all kind of things just to look at, or hang on the wall. You will have lots of enjoyment getting to know this one too.

Ron, that's not an illness. It's a talent. Something to be proud of   :)

Ron with so many Holm made bows can you tell us what makes you so addicted to them. What attracts you to them over other bows.

ron w

Ed, first is the first class guy that Chad Holm is, next I really like the way he builds a bow, he has a good eye on what woods go together and how they compliment each other. Most important I feel his bows perform with the best out there and much better than many. I have 2 of his longbows and 3 recurves now. The recurves perform really well. And lastly......I just like them!!

Yes and no. You had a moment of weakness, but now you've got a new bow.

I can fully feel your pain.  I have bought one New bow and two used ones from TG members within the past month.  I can't stop...

It's a sickness. I've often remarked that someone needs to start a 12 step for bowaholics like myself.

Buying, trying and selling has got to be half the fun. OK, not the money half, but it's only good for spending, anyway.

I like the comment - "embrace the illness."
Having a choice is always good. Lots of good deals on the Classifieds right now. A buyer's market, I dare say.

I would consider it a personal favor that if any-one here figures out a cure they NOT tell me THANKS in advance.

Yeah, ain't it fun? At least for me, my wife fails to see the humor though. I just love buying and selling, seeing how this one compares to that one. Heck man, it's just fun!
