Thanks for the info Brian. I'll be watching closely for your reviews after you've shot it for awhile. Good Hunting, Mike

I just shot it for about 20 min and oh my god. I'm in love. I won't say ill turn my back on my others but this thing rockets an arrow. And 62" DOES make a big difference compared to 68" when sitting/kneeling and ground clearance.

I still haven't tuned it yet though but the arrows are shooting fine. Maybe tomorow ill fine tune her

That is one beautiful bow. I can't wait to see it in person. I bet pictures don't do it justice. Congrats on your new bow! I bet that you didn't sleep at all last night. I know wouldn't have.

Expectations exceeded...again!

I am drooling over the prospect of getting a 66"er in my hands.

I'll be watching for the "tuned-in" photos.

Clearly Mr Berry knows how to build some truly awesome bows.

I have been talking to the "Amazon Lady" hoping to prepare her for the move over to the "2nd chair"...lol

Well I did a little tuning with the arrows on hand.
My ICS 500s will surfice , I want to pick up some beman centershot 500s though just for a touch more weight as these are a tad weak and lowering point weight is not an option as my GPP are as low as I like to go.

Here it is with my zwicky no mercy

Thank you Byron Ferguson for making that tuning video.  Took about 10 min to tune her in. Previously I'd still be worried about my tune 3 months from now

Brian would you mind filling me in about that video?  With all these pages to read I'm sure I missed something somewhere.  I could always use some tuning tips. Thanks.

Your bow and your shooting look really good.  Enjoy the Northstar and good luck with it.

Mike,
Byron's new video is called "tuning for extreme accuracy". It just shows his method of tuning which is standing 10 yds from a bag target (good and tight not shot out) and reading the angle of the arrow.
I have noticed on other tuning threads this method is often dejected BUT it works for Byron and it has substantionaly upped my confidence and shooting.plus I can haw a new bow and after string stretch have it tuned in roughly 30 min max even with a brand new never shot arrow combo.

I pick my FP weight, (175gr because I have 2 doz 175gr Broadheads) and tune my bow arrow combo for that point weight
