I'm still a teenager with that bow. Still a work in progress.......but at least I can shoot it a few times before giving in  

I talked to Andrew a while back too, sounds like the efforts are really paying off!

A week or two ago he sent me a picture of a HUGE tree rubbed raw up to waist height and coated in fresh mud. I swear I spend most of my time deer hunting thinking about hog hunting!

Yeah.....they beat the 'partial' dawgs.....not the 1st stringers.

Timing, timing, timing. I wasn't sure how my wife would react to the idea of me doing another hunt in 2013, so I waited for the right time to bring it up.  One night she was putting away groceries and I heard her lamenting the fact that there was only 4 packages of hog sausage left. "Oh really, cause there is this thing in December..."

Our group went 3 times in only 11 months!

I didn't quite have to resort to tears, but let's just say there was some creative begging that took place to pull it off.

Thom you da man! I had a similar experience. My wife told me not to come home with ribs and sausage. I'm blessed to have a wife and kids that love wild pig meat. Can't wait to get down there!

Chase and I will be there this weekend to help put some finishing touches on stands and feeders....will test a few out for you guys just in case. I think ya'll are going to be in for some serious shot opportunities from both the ground and air from what I've seen so far.

The new camp is one of the nicest hunting accommodations I've seen. 8 bunks, two separate shower/bathrooms, and a washer and dryer even! I miss the nostalgia of the old camp, especially the porch but I don't think anyone would trade after seeing the new one.
