Hmm. This sure sounds like fun. I could dust off the old Jerry Hill Wildcat Deluxe.

I had a thought the other day and i thought id pose the question to you folks ( and my wife ) and see what kind of response i get before committing my wife to this little project.
Since this is gonna be a one of a kind event, and since my wife is a very talented leather worker, thought it might be a great idea, if we had some custom arm guards made up to commemorate the event, these in turn would be auctioned off at the event and the benefits would go to St. Judes.
Each arm guard would represent this Hill Hog Hunt, but each would be a different design, I was thinking 3 to 4 arm guards, all of which would be one of a kind.
Let me know what you think of the idea so that ive got time to kiss some hiney and get things rolling.

Killdeer

I like a raffle, as you can win with only a little cash. On the other hand, (also a plus), the money earned is not limited to the amount held in the highest pockets in the gang. You can raise more money from a lot of folks giving a little than you can from four people paying what they can afford.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Good idea Bud, any way we do it, the money goes to a great cause, and there will be some folks who will walk away with some one of a kind commemorative arm guards.

Killdeer, i like the way you think, everybody has a chance to win and St. Judes will be the one to gain the greatest benefit.

Bud-
Great idea!

I'm going to have a raffle in Oct for one dozen Howard Hill arrows with Hill broadheads. One arrow will have HillGang Hog Hunt 2013 written on it. Criag Ekin of Howard Hill Archery will be donating the arrows and broadheads, and the money will go to St. Jude.
