There have been a few set backs. First when I recieved the dies I found they built 3 the same size all large. Then I went to build the large tabs and found the dies for the snaps had doubles so I could not set snaps. Unbeleavable! So they are going to overnight the dies for the snaps on Monday so I should be able to fill all large orders. The dies for the medium and extra large should be shipped after the first of the year. Had no idea it could get so complicated. Thanks Scott.  


I just thought I would do a seperate post for the ring tabs. The first run will be as follows split finger single ply left or right hand. the sizes will be medium, large and extra large. They will come with 3 sizes of O rings that can be changed out with a snap. If you have to you can trim tab to your liking. These tabs are extremly comfortable for the O ring takes up no space between yor fingers. The tab can easily be flipped to the back side of your hand when not in use. I put a little clip on my armguard and that is where she lives when not in use. Just clip to the O ring. This tab is great for cold weather because you can get a O ring big enough to slide over a wool glove or glomit. These are rubber O rings you can get at the hardware store if you break one or need a very large or smaller one. They will retail for $15.00. But through December I will offer them for $13.00 to Trad Gang members. The dies well be ready next week and as soon as I get them I will fill orders. Three Rivers will be carrying these tabs. The color shown is in burgandy or brown which will be the primary color. There is only one company in the states that makes shell cordavan. It takes a long time to get it and it is exspensive. If I run out of brown shell cordavan I will resort to black shell cordavan from the same company. Right know I have brown and if that changes I will let you know. There is not going to be color choices black is just an opption if I run out of brown. These tabs are wonderfull to use and are a great hunting tab.


$13.00 through December avalible in Right or Left. SPILT FINGER ONLY SINGLE PLY at this time. Medium, Large, Extra Large. Comes with 3 O rings for the right fit.             I have had a few people ask for measurement. So here are the measurments for the tabs.  Medium 2 7/8" wide X 2 1/16" long, Large 3" wide X 2 5/16" Long, And XLrge is 3 7/16" wide X 2 9/16 long. You can see in the photo how the tab lays. To find length I would measure your middle finger from tip to second joint down from tip. For width measure your three fingers across. You can trim these.

In my opinion this is the best style tab bar none.Especially in cold weather because you can easily change rubber "O" Ring to larger size to fit over glove and the Cordovon wears like Iron !!

Thanks guys I am getting it all down to hold them aside when I start building. These tabs are slick I most thank Bob Burton of Whispering Wind Arrows in Montana. We met at Bowhunters of Wyoming banquete and I was showing him my gear. I was just getting the idea of building gear for the traditional bowhunter. He showed me his tab and asked if I could build him one like it. I never seen one before but I guess Neet made them into the 70s and then dropped them. I ran home and tried his and really liked it so I built 2 one for me and for him. He was very particular that I did get his back. When I handed him his new one his eyes lit up. He said what do I owe you I said nothing as long as you dont mind me making more he said go a head. So now we have a classic back again. Thanks again for supporting me Scott.
