I have 25+ bows most of the time. A dozen or so of them are lefty's I shoot and the others are righty's and/or kids bows I keep on hand for folks wanting to try trad archery. I have recurves, longbows, and self bows. I try to keep several kids bows on hand just to give away to kids who obviously want to pursue archery.

As of now I only have 3. One recurve,an old Bear Stag Hunter and 2 longbows. A black Widow PLX and a Venom custom from Diamondback Archery. I had another recurve that I built about 6 years ago but the glass on the top limb cracked a few weeks ago.

Isn't this kind of like asking a woman how much she weighs?

Personally I am two short of the perfect number, no three.  I need a KwykStyk, a low grip Widow and a Dale Dye.

It's ten for me... Five recurves and five longbows...  :D

I want to reduce the number I have by selling two and buying one. Once i reach the point where I can't sell two, I'll know it's time to be happy with what I have.

I only need one for hunting, my Kanati, so that's all I have for that purpose. I have a Browning Wasp for bowfishing and it can double for a back-up bow, just in case. Shoots the same arrows as my Kanati, so that's a big plus. I also have an osage bow I made several years ago, but at 67#@28", it's a bit on the heavy side so I never shoot it anymore. Been aiming to reduce the poundage on that bow, but can't seem to get around to it.

So I guess my answer is 3 bows altogether.
