Using the Bingham plans for heat box and using smooth on epoxy with his plans for heat box using four 200 watt bulbs and his thermostat how long do you cook you bow or limbs?

**DONOTDELETE**

Did you wire in a thermocouple to shut off your lights at 180 degrees? Bingham's supplies them It will get way too hot if you didn't.

4 -200 watt bulbs is over kill bro. use 4 100 watt and you'll still get plenty of heat.....

use a christmas tree timer and set it for 4 hours in the hot box, and don't take it out of the form until it sets over night.

In the future you should use the Bowyers bench forum for this kind of subject. this will most likely get moved there now...

Thanks Kirk.  Yes I wired thermocouple to shut off at 180 degrees

I added 1/2" foil lined foam board to my Bingham hot box. It really helps to get enough heat with only 2, 100w bulbs.
