I've been looking forward to this day since I heard it was going to be a boy. We got out there a little later than I wanted, but still a bit before sunup. It was a good time going through the woods. We hunted on the ground and I had a fun time trying to get him to be still and quiet. He sounded like a builder going through the woods when we stalked. I stopped by on the way home and got a ground blind tent for next time so he can move a little and we will have a chance at seeing a deer. Good times!

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

Awesome! Keep it fun. Taking game is NOT what it's all about at this point. Enjoy it because he will grow up if you blink!

Sounds like you've got the Dad thing down pat!

luv it but he needs his own bow with some blunts on it for those pesky critters that harass you while on the stand 8^)
