The Mermaid longbow is OFFICIALLY DONE!

This has been a challenging project but all the hard work, time and frustration paid off in the final completion of this bow. Using a very fine paint brush I chose to outline the entire design with a wood stain. The reason for this was to make the colors pop out more and allow the original color of the Maple to act as the Mermaid's skin tone. Apart of our "Traditional Tattoo Series" this is another addition that will accompany many more in the future.

That's quite sharp. My wife asked me why she wasn't a red head. ..but she's a bit biased - lol. Nice work there!

Nice! If I showed that to my Grandsons, they'd each want one in a Power Rangers theme.

I have been doing a lot of different types for all ages and themes. We had know idea it was going to become so popular. Mike(dad) said he didn't think it had a place in tradition archery. Know he says "boy, I got that wrong". I enjoy bringing the art to a bow riser. Its truly personal and one of a kind.
