what is your average tree stand height if you hunt from the trees? 15? 20? 25 ft?
If you profess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9

I like to hunt on the higher side, unless the cover allows me to hunt lower.  Typically with 4 sticks and 4 rope loops, I can get around 20'.  Always wear a safety harness.

I usually hunt around 20 ft.  Here in the mountains,  the wind is never consistent.

I don't hunt from a tree stand any more, but when I did, I liked them in the neighborhood of 12 - 15' to the platform, and I've set them up even lower at times. I never liked the shot angles from anything higher, especially on close shots. JMHO.

that's what I am worried about. I always got 25 ft + with the wheel bow but it won't be that way with this bow..Im thinking 15-18 ft max

At my age, if I can't touch the base while standing on the ground, it scares me.  However, I will go higher but like to keep the distance 10-12 ft.

At least the deer I hunt don't walk thru the woods with their head in the air looking for ambushers.

15-20 ft generally. lower is nice for shot angles but do like height for getting out of "their" wind.

12' to 17' depending on stand location and prevailing winds.

Depends on the tree and the situation. In my favorite stand location, suitable trees are few and far between. The only one that's exactly where I want to be is a hickory that forks about 14 feet up. So that's as high as I can climb.

Other places, I need to get up around 30 feet for the shots I want (that's with a gun though). Generally, 15-20 feet or so is about right for places I hunt...esp with a bow. Much higher and the shot angle really sucks. I practice regularly from the top of my garage to keep myself in the habit of shooting from above my target. Practice like you hunt.

I stay on the ground mostly these days, getting too old to climb up too high.
