I'm in need of a two blade broadhead weighing 200 grains.

Based on past experience, I really like Ace Standards and Zwickey Deltas.  I'll be using a 75 grain steel adapter.  The Ace will come in right at 200 grains and the Zwickeys will probably be around 210.

I know we hash this kind of thing out all the time, but I figured I'd see what yall have to say.

I like that the Zwickeys are a little wider, but the Ace are a little easier to sharpen.

Hackbow

Yes to both.

How's that for help? Hahaha

Bow is 50@28

I'm open to other suggestions but I like inexpensive  ;)

The Eclipse are a little more than either of the ones you mentioned, but they seem pretty tough to me.

Biathlonman

Tusker Delta Screw in is nice to and sharpens real easy, 200 grains.  Cheap and effective.

Between the two, Delta, you have plenty of horsepower.

I just saw the prototype of the new cutthroat 200 grain Broadhead from Rocky Mountain specialty gear it looks pretty awesome.  I don't see how anyone could go wrong with this head.

Also considered the Eskimo in 4 blade with a 75 gr insert but I'm afraid the short adapter will leave an open space in the middle of the head. Any experience?

STOS 130g.  Would be 205g with your 75g adapter.  They can be made wicked sharp

Hey TXAg.... you are correct in thinking that a Eskimo 4-blade with a 75 grain adapter will leave an open space in the middle.  You could fill that gap with a little bit of cotton or cut a small piece of foam and stick in it.  No, it don't look the best but it does keep it from "whistling" when you shoot.  From my own testing (with bows lower than 50 lbs), I have found the Deltas penetrate better than the 4-blade Eskimo with very good bloodtrails.  I have also used Ace Standards with outstanding results.  Either one would be a great choice but I do think the Deltas are easier to mount truer on adapters.  I guess it all boils down to what color do you like best!    ;)

Ribtek 190....Grizzly Kodiak 200.  I would also consider Tuffhead or Tusker

I've used zwickey 4 bld eskimos with short adapter but wouldn't recomend it. Nailed a young buck in the spine a few years ago and it broke right off.
You can't go wrong with the deltas though

It's been a while since I bought Deltas. Do they come in around the 135 gr as advertised or are they 7-10 grains heavier???

Yeah, 200gr Cutthroat, lifetime guarantee, easiest to sharpen head I've ever used! When I shot my doe last season I ended up putting four holes through her hide and took off one of the little bones that stick off the side of a vertebrae and it could still shave the hair off my arm. I just bought six more in right bevel for me and my wife to use next elk season. Also you don't have to dink around with the inserts on the 200gr. They are introducing new sizes too! Here's a recent post on them!

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Last bunch I bought was 135, probably been a year ago now.

I have had good results with Magnus, Eclipse and Werewolf BH's.

I just went through this debating over which arrows to bring on an upcoming hunt.  I stuck with the Ace, can't go wrong.  Nice and wide, easy to sharpen, and they're easy on the wallet.

I've used both the Ace and the Zwickey you're looking at.  I killed a lot of critters with the 2 blade Delta Zwickey. It's a great head and so is the Ace. After a while of sharpening, my Zwickey's would have a slight concave edge to them. Howard Hill's testing gave the nod to concave heads in penetration over straight edges. Straight edges were better than concave edge. If you're looking for slight penetration edge go with the Zwickey, otherwise it's a coin toss (with your bow weight, either will do fine).

All the ones I've bought and weighed were 5-7 grains heavier out of the package but by the time I finished setting the angle with a file to get them ready to hone and stop they ended up right at 135 gr.
