I finally got a chance to test drive (and potentially own) one of South's bows this week (more on that at a later date) and also purchased some Stalker swag including the "Glory Hog 2" DVD that I had heard good things about.

I'm pleased to say that this DVD delivers 100% and is my favorite traditional archery themed hunt video to date aside from my all-time favorite Wild Tradition by Jim Neaves and Co.  I feel this feature is in the same spirit as Jim's picture was.  Good stuff.

The video quality on this feature is clear and sharp and the sound quality is excellent.

There are lots of exciting moments and the best part is that South and Bob discuss quite a few tidbits concerning hog behavior.  They get up close and personal with the piggies and the boys and I at the station today couldn't help but get fired up about chasing some pigs later this year and next.  If you like hunting hogs with your bow you will enjoy this movie and want to go out and shoot some arrows right after it ends just to stay sharp     :bigsmyl:

My favorite scene overall is a close range kill that Bob makes on a boar that would have anyone of us almost dirty our undies.  An epic scene that is caught up close and personal.

Here's some promotional blurbs on the vid I found:

"Join filmmaker/narrator, Steve Tadin, in this cinema quality DVD on hog hunting. Steve joins veteran guide Bob Larson, and writer/bowyer South Cox as they hunt the Hillside Hog Haven Ranch on an all-traditional, fair chase hunt.

Learn the habits of wild pigs and techniques for hunting them as you're treated to some spectacular footage and heart-pounding hunts.

"I got one of the early copies at Kalamazoo and took it to Texas with us. We showed it to each of our Pig-Gig groups. It is by far the best hog hunting video I've ever seen. I highly recommend it!" - Gene Wensel

Chaptered for viewing convenience. Approximately 70 minutes long."

I got my copy direct from South.

I received mine last year from South to make up for a dropped accessory order.  The order "fell through the cracks" for only a week or so, but South threw that video in to make up for the delay.

I give it 2 hooves up !    :D

I thought it was really well put together. I would put it on the same quality as Bowhunting Reflections.

I think it is a great video with a lot of excellent hog footage and some spectacular shooting. Two thumbs up
