This is my first video, so keep that in mind. If I cannot get it posted correctly.

Guys, I think I have come up with the Ultimate workout for us Bowhunters. This exercise works your shoulders, triceps, biceps, forearm, wrist, grip, confidence and trust in yourself, all in one simple exercise.

I was out working in the backyard last night and all the neighbor kids were over playing with my boys in the front. When I came around to the front, there was an argument going on between 3 of the kids about who was the toughest (2 of the 3 were my boys).

I just so happened to have an 8# sledge hammer in my hands and not being one to let an opportunity of having fun pass me by, I issued this challenge to the boys to see who the toughest was. To my surprise, they all tried, but they didn't have the upper body strength...yet...to complete the task, but more importantly, they were lacking trust and confidence in themselves. Their unsure comments when trying told me so.

Yeah, Yeah, I know they are just 9-11 year old kids, but you are never to old, or young, to try new things and physically improve ourselves. There is NO WAY I was gonna let the kids thump themselves, I was more interested in how they would receive the idea.

Honestly, I had never tried this before, but told myself "I could". The thought of failing never crossed my mind...good thing too. I have some more work to do to get better/stronger and will do my best to improve.

Let me know if you give this a try, and hopefully your results are the same...

Looks like its time to move up to a 12 lb'er. Lol

I thought that was just an old construction workers game! I never thought of using it for exercise.

That was very much a field game. Haha... I loved playing that one with the kids when I was a buck SGT.  Damn!  That was before the camo pole climb.... And ruck sack push-ups.
I think that everytime a sledge comes out I want to play that game again.

...not sure I would try and get my 9yr old playing it, even two handed
Shootz!

Give it a try again and let the memories come flowing back.  "Ruck Sac Push-ups" were never any fun, but a great muscle booster they were.
