I am sorry to hear that, but praise God you're still alive to type that out!  I pray you'll get feeling and use back.  Take care!

Just opened this thread and was like whoa!!  Ed I hope you recover to the maximum you are able and then some.  Never give up and take the bull by the horns.  Luckily there are some bows out there that shine at lower draw weights.

We don't know each other Ed, but I've read some of your posts since joining and I have to say that you seem like one tough dude. My Dad had a couple "small" strokes, and then a really bad one. He lost the use of one arm, one leg, and he couldn't speak. The Dr's didn't have much hope for him, but he had that same drive, and fighting attitude that I see in you. A year later he was walking, talking, and shadow boxing. One of his Dr's told him she wished she could take him across the country and show other stroke victims how much that drive, and attitude could accomplish. I know It's easy for me to say, but stay tough Ed. Your in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear that Ed.  You've been through a lot.  Prayers for a speedy recovery.

And I know you will find some way to shoot a bow again.

I've been moved to the floor.  Still gonna need a ton of PT and OT, and there's a possibility of surgeries as well.  In fact, I hope I get them, as I'd move a lot easier.

My wife visited 15 minutes yesterday and isn't planning to today.  I'm still working out what that means.

All the best prayers, advice and encouragement have already been said to you and for you, and I can't say it any better. So just know that there's one more Tradgang brother echoing what has already been said and prayed for you.
