I went out this morning to fling a few arrows....it was -22 degrees. It had warmed up slightly by time I got around to taking this picture. I shot exactly 1 arrow and came in. Thank God there's no wind....

Roger- 1 arrow is not "a few".  Go back out and shoot at least 2 more.  Dang it's cold up there!!!  Stay by the fire as much as you can.   :campfire:

I had the same temp here in PA this morning. Too chilly. Monday morning I had -34. Ready for spring...

Brrrr! Welcome to my world.... Heater body suit is the only way to handle those temps.. You're right about the wind!

And btw...since your wool is no longer good to you, just send it to me! Ha

It's warm here in eastern CT. 8*F.
I shoot in the basement. Only 13 yards, but warm enough for more than one shot.

I went out to feed the birds and replace their water and just about froze my fingers off.

1 arrow to many for me...minus 22... basement 62 12 yard shot. We're good.

It's a balmy 5 degrees here in Indy.  Of course, my kids have been on two hour delay for 3 straight days.  I don't know, I don't ever remember getting 2 hour delays because it was cold.

I'll be out slinging arrows around 3P.  It'll be 18 degrees by then and plenty warm enough.

For the life of me, I just can't imagine why anyone would want to live in a place that is colder than the inside of my freezer.    :saywhat:

Just got in from walking the dog. I was in shorts, he didn't wear anything but his collar. I'm heading out to do some stumping (shorts and tee shirt). Here is a picture from a recent hike.

Just couldn't help myself, as I noticed that it was snowing at home, too. This snowbirding stuff isn't a bad gig.

Here is why we stay....this is the creek our ShreHaven camp sits on...although this pic is 4 MONTHS OLD    :scared:    ! Winter stays long this far up...

I think my friends and family are sick of hearing me say I'm moving to Florida.  A typical comment is "You know you'll miss your deer hunting..."  My response "There are deer there....and pork is my favorite vegetable....."

A weather service probe near michigamme (about 30 min. for Iron River) had -40 yesterday morning! Not to far from shrewheaven. I had -35 yesterday before work. My dog doesn't ever want to be out.

LOL!  Well put brother.  I am here in Petoskey Michigan wondering why I live here.  My wife tells me that my hair is getting a bit grey around the edges.  I am sure it's freeezer burn.
