I have one bow....since 2007. A Black Widow PSAX 71@31.  Before that I had one bow since 1991.  It is my weapon not a bowmance.

Wise words. I have just one. I have had others and at times more than one. For the better part of the last 10 years I have had just the one. It's the only one I have had that I can pick up and hit with anytime without a warm up. It just fits.

I have one bow and an extra set of limbs, I can't see the reason to have any more.

I only have one .  One for each situation. Lots and lots of situations.

Well I really shoot one bow for hunting and all my practice and roving and it's my Black Widow PLX takedown 60# @ 28". The only other bow I shoot at times is my Tomahawk diamond series SS which is 55# @ 28" and I do admit to occasionally shooting it but it's mainly my bowfishing bow. But I love shooting it and during the summer time it gets almost as much love as my Widow!

Flying Dutchman

I only have two bows and mainly shoot one.

But the only time you should fear me is when I eat beans....
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

I like trying different bows. If there was only one bow on the rack- I would loose interest quickly. Do a lot more target shooting than hunting anymore. Have a ILF, made a riser for a set of Robertson longbow limbs, 2 Widow PAS,s, one Bear Gizzley, and a Hummingbird 3 piece longbow.
Looked at them yesterday and can not see one I can part with.
Sometimes I even hit the target with an arrow. Do not fear me. Thanks, Roy
Maybe it is time to shoot what I have on the rack

a newbie should stick with one stick bow 'til all the shooting and hunting bugs are worked out.  but after that, the itch will probably add a few more to the ascham (look that word up  :D  ).

i now have but three longbows, with a specific task in mind for each.  the list of bows i've owned and shot since 1953 totals 114.  what a waste of wood but the trip sure was fun ....

I keep finding myself using the same old Martin X-200.  It is my work truck, if you know what I mean.  If it were a real truck it would have 300,000 miles on it.

Then I have the five dozen other bows that are seldom shot but look awesome on my living room walls.

Fear me only if I have the Martin in hand.

I think I would have to sell about 20 to be feared!

I am down to two, mainly shoot my silvertip. I used to have the itch to try a lot of bows.   My Kodiak was my first bow, so it's not going anywhere.   My tip was my last, not going anywhere either.  It scratched the itch, so to speak.

Always had more than one for many years then none up to three years ago.  Boy did that change, now I have eight.  They will probably bury me on the fourty-four with these.  Six are my favorite and I need the other two.

I once heard that and said YUP I'm sticking with one bow and these guys bettah (Mass) LOOK OUT!

yeah that lasted about as long as it took me to sneak my first peak into the classifieds and well now it takes me 10 minutes to a 1/2 hr to decide what bow I'm bringing that day, what bow, what arrows, what broadheads, what wool coat, what spot am I hunting, what stand, what time should I leave, what time will I get there, what what what I think I have the disease.

I only have one at this point...my widow pchx...can't say that I wouldn't own another bow but after probably 100 different bows I found that buying more meant selling more and shopping more, which became a hobby in itself.  Right now I'm just focused on shooting but may eventually get back in to the buying and selling market.

I have only had one bow for almost two years, a 60" foley recurve.  I have a timberghost ordered, though.  At the risk of sounding like a fool, I have a relationship with my foley.  I've shot it thousands upon thousands of times.  I know it well and it knows me.  Even though I am very excited about getting my timberghost and acquiring more bows, me and my foley will always have a special bond.

Actually I'm not so sure that "Fear the man with one bow" is really true. Yes he will become very good with that one bow. But you learn so much from shooting other bows.

Tuning. Grip. Longbow or Recurve. Short or long. Etc etc. Then as time goes on you're better able to make good decisions about future bow acquisitions. You then own several bows but have a favorite "go to" bow that really works well for you.

I fear the day my figures out how much money I have in bows!!!
