After 16 long months my Habu Vyperkahn with the carbon longbow lims got here on Friday. Very nice. The fit and finish is superb.

It is 46#@28. Can anyone help me with an arrow to start with? I am not afraid to shoot alum, but I would prefer to stay with carbon. I was shooting Axis 500's with the brass inserts with my Morrison.

I'd start with the axis and a heavy point. See how that works before trying anything else first.

Now we need pics of the bow.

So your saying stay with the 500's with the 100 grain brass insert and 125 grain head?

Sweet bow. I'd probably try a 250, 200 and 175 head just to see what flys best personally. What draw length are you?

28" draw. These Axis camo 500's are at 29 1/2. They bare shaft tuned out of my Morrison at the same weight. But the Habu is suppose to shoot a bit stiffer I was told.

Would you like my mailing address?  :D

bowhnter7

Sorry Larry, not that I wouldn't let ya shoot her. Too many hours of OT worked to get to be risking that.

I'd promise to send it back in no more than 3 years  :biglaugh:

Awesome.  I have one about to be finished.  I sent the final payment in last week and I expect it sometime in Oct.  Great bows

Wonderful bow.
By far my favorite bow .I posted on your other thread about aluminum arros.
I shoot axis from my 66lbs VK.The 340's w/ a 190gr point shoot extremely well.I think you maybe under spined.Bareshaft tune and see.My guess is you'll need a 400 axis w/ a 175/200grs up front.
