Michael,  Glad you found him!  Can you give us an autopsy report?  One lung? Liver?  Location of the hit?  May help the rest of us on future tracking jobs.

Congratulations! Glad you found him. Too nice to lose. I lost one at MCAAP a couple weeks ago. Not as nice as yours but my first deer to shoot with trad gear. Thanks to the local MCAAP biologist I did get my head.

I hit the posterior lobe of the liver and shot right through the spleen just barely missing the left lung on the way out.
