Thanks guys and great buck Michael!  My pup didn't find much beyond the blood he already knew about.  His persistence won out. We just kept working the grid looking and got lucky.  I don't think the buck had been dead long.  He wasn't that stiff, or that stinky, and nothing had eaten on him yet.  Big win for team trad gang!  Were you able to save the meat, or too risky you think, Michael?
